Import SeaBASS formatted files

SeaDAS supports the import of SeaBASS (The SeaWiFS Bio-optical Archive and Storage System) data files as vector input. The import is invoked from the menu item:
File -> Import Vector Data -> SeaBASS Data

There are only a few header fields required for the reader:

• /delimiter=tab, space or comma
• /missing=value for missing data
• /fields=lat,lon,chl,...
  • lat and lon are required along with the data values.
